Keith Harmeyer

Keith Harmeyer began his Silva journey over 40 years ago when he first took the Silva Basic Lecture Series with instructors, Roy and Maree Proctor. In the decades since, he has continued his study of the Silva method with a variety of instructors, including Jose Silva’s daughter, Laura Silva Quesada, and Ken Coscia, Silva’s International Training Director.

Keith’s experience and in-depth understanding of the Silva concepts and techniques, combined with his diverse background in public speaking, corporate training, marketing, and even entertainment, make him a uniquely engaging and successful instructor.

For over 20 years, Keith was a creative director and copywriter at New York City advertising agencies, where he generated innovative ideas for some of the world’s leading brands. Before his career in advertising, Keith was a professional singer and actor, and appeared in opera and musical theater productions throughout the country.

Since 2009, Keith has spent most of his time speaking, writing, and consulting on the topics of innovative thinking, creative problem solving, and persuasive communication. (Although occasionally he still breaks into song!)

Keith is a founding partner at SmartStorming.com, and co-author of the book, SmartStorming: The Game-Changing Process for Generating Bigger, Better Ideas. He is a graduate of Loyola and Tulane Universities, both in his hometown, New Orleans, Louisiana, and is a past-president of the Florida Speakers Association. He lives in sunny South Florida with his wife, Vivian, and their Shih Tzu, Sushi.
